How It Works

Easy Information Sharing

Rabbit is the easiest way to share information. There’s no need to email or ftp files. Simply select a file and choose the people in your network you want to share it with – colleague, customer or supplier. When they log in to Rabbit they’ll see which files have been shared. There’s no complicated uploading, or directory structure management. It’s all about the people who need to know. Files can be created anywhere and dragged and dropped into Rabbit to make them available for sharing.

Private Documents

Private Documents

Everyone has information that is work-in-progress, or private, or just useful to them. Save information for your own purposes in Private Documents. It makes a great backup environment for your work too. Automatically synchronise from your local environment, or just drag and drop the files you want to backup and your data is copied securely.

Public Documents

Public Documents

When everyone needs to be able to see standard documents keep them in Public Documents. Anyone who has access to the system can view files in this area..

Shared Documents

When you log in to Rabbit you can see all the files you’ve shared and the files other people have shared with you. Depending on your access privileges you can read or update these files and then pass them on to other users. You’ll always be notified when someone has shared information with you – as an alert, as an email or as an SMS depending on your preferences.

File synchronisation

File synchronisation

You can synchronise your files between your traditional desktop and server environment and Rabbit. This makes it easy for you to work on information when you’re away from your desk, knowing that you’re dealing with the latest version, and synchronise it so that you’re always on the right version when you’re back in the office

Access & Security

Access & Security

Although it’s important to be able to share information easily, it’s even more important that the right levels of security are in place. With Rabbit, administrators can set security levels, and then individual users can set further access rights for individual files. You might want everyone in your project group to see a document, or just two people within the group. Because you manage access by person rather than by file it’s very easy to ensure that only the right people can see your information. Couple this with enhanced security management at the system level and you can be sure that Rabbit isn’t just easy to use, it’s secure to use.
