Rabbit now has a ratings system built into its CMS
Cambridge, UK - February 27, 2009
Rabbit now has a ratings system built into its content publishing so that readers of articles can rate how useful they are with a simple star-based voting system.
Rabbit has been designed to encourage users to contribute articles: it has easy mechanisms to ensure that articles don't end up being published to the wrong audience and that users can filter the articles that are relevant to their interests and work functions. Now with ratings, another quality and review measure has been added, as every user can now rate each article, and articles can be filtered by ratings.
Adding in ratings to articles has a number of positive effects:
- encourages contributors to submit high-quality pieces and encourages them to keep contributing to keep their scores high
- allows managers to review how effective their team's contributions are and provides a possible performance target measure
- provides mechanisms to avoid information overload and deliver highly relevant and useful content for users.
With the addition of this feature Rabbit has provided another useful tool to make enterprise social collaboration deliver results.
